Christina N. Russomanno
In her ten years working in the design field Christina has had the privilege to work for two large, successful companies, constantly learning and growing from each experience.
At Sakar International, Christina expanded her knowledge of the Adobe creative suite; creating package designs, 3D prototype mock-ups for sales meetings, vendor catalogs and sell sheet advertisements to name a few of the projects she worked on. Working in this environment, with overseas printers and manufactures, her design skills, as well as her communication skills continued to grow. It was a great learning experience and amazing stepping stone.
After five years with Sakar, it was time to take on a new challenge at H&M. Her role there was to produce navigational text and interior wall graphics in vinyl format. Working with new machines and new material on such a large scale was fun and exciting. Christina ran the production side for over 300 stores nationwide and installing the vinyl graphics at new store openings. This gave her a chance to “decorate” the store while following guidelines of the corporate identity.
Throughout her career Christina continued to take on various freelance projects creating designs for friends and family, and expanding her audience and cliental. These were the projects she found most exciting, allowing her creativity to run free. These projects were more fulfilling as she got to see the happiness of her clients as a concept develops and comes to life. The satisfaction and appreciation received after each project is completed, brings a feeling of great achievement and success. As time progressed she became more involved with decorating and creating more customized items for parties. And this is what motivated her and gave her the encouragement to start her own business.
